To ensure authenticity, Expedia verifies each Traveler Opinion by confirming that the reviewer has stayed at the property within the past six months. 2006 Premio Nacional Energías Renovables
The Comisión Nacional para Ahorro de Energía (Mexico’s national energy agency) gave Palace Resorts the 2nd place of the national prize for renewable energies in the Development Project category for its efforts and achievements in the areas of saving and efficient use of energy and renewable energy, particularly for its solar water heaters installed in Vallarta palace, Playacar Palace, Cozumel Palace and Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.

The Yucatan Prize in Quality is the highest recognition in the Yucatan Peninsula.
